The Tudor caliber T401-901 is an automatic movement with a mechanical alarm function. While the base movement is an ETA 2892-A2, the alarm complication is a Tudor module.

In the official user manual (page 9), Tudor refers to the movement as a “TUDOR calibre 2892 with additional mechanism for the alarm function”.

Mechanical Alarm:

Watches with the calibre T401-901 have two crowns and a pusher button on the side of the case.

Crown at 4:00 (time)

  • Against the case – Manual-winding
  • Pulled out 1click – Date-setting
  • Pulled out 2 clicks – Time-setting

Crown at 2:00 (alarm)

  • Against the case – Nothing
  • Pulled out 1 click – Alarm winding
  • Pulled out 2 clicks – Alarm time-setting

Pusher at 8:00 (alarm)

  • Alarm on/off button
