Hi
My seiko skx013 power reserve dont work stop after few minutes.
what can i do to check it?
I need to change caliber?
Is the same history with 7S26, I found that that caliber always presents problems with all the balance system, I disassembled about 8 now and I don't understand what exactly is, even after a full service its only between 169 and 245 on amplitude, must be at 270 (minimum in any position) to my understanding. Once I did replace the whole balance system and reach 300. So sad, I even thought that is an overrated movement for all that you can heard about it on YouTube en read online. So, short answer: they may be disposable in most cases, upgrade to NH36 (only time will tell if is just the same history). Regards!
I have had many 7S26 movements last 10 years or more without an issue. However, a 6R35 (C - I think, with the 70-hour reserve) stopped running after 7 months with that same problem. I suspect that it is a defect that occurs in a certain percentage of cases. I'm thinking of swapping my movement for an nh35 just to keep it affordable, but it will be a pity to lose that extra power reserve.
- Can you obtain the max power reserve just by wearing the watch or do you need to manually wind the movement?

Unfortunately, no manual winding in the 7S26.
