The Miyota caliber 2115 is a 0 jewel quartz movement. There is also a caliber 2105 which adds a day of the week complication.

2115 Accuracy:

Miyota states the accuracy of this movement to average about +/-20 seconds/month.

Battery Cell:

The caliber 2115/2105 takes an SR626SW watch battery. The battery is said to last up to 3 years. There is a battery saving (aka hacking) mode by pulling out the stem into time setting mode (position II).

Hola, buenas tardes tengo un reloj ICE, con esta maquinaria MIYOTA co, 2115, le cambie la bateria y no funciono, que pasara?? Lo tiro ala basura, o le pongo otra bateria?? Gracias por su atencion, bendiciones.

Puede que la máquina esté averiada pero, también la puedes cambiar. Debes llevar el reloj a un relojero para que haga el trabajo.

Is the difference between the Miyota 2115 and the 2315 simply the size?

We’re working on a listing for the Miyota caliber 2315 (still need good photos), but the main difference is the overall size: 2115 is 10.5”’ (23.7mm) vs 2315 at 11.5”’ (26.4mm). They both have 0 jewels, 3 hands with a date, take the same battery, same stem, etc. There are more variations of the 2315 which allow for a wide day of the week at 12:00, but other than that they are quite similar.

Is there a variation of the 3215 that allows for a wide day of the week at 6:00, like some Citizens that I have seen? That is my ‘preferred look’.

Hola David the price of the Miyota 2115 goes anywhere from 4.00 USD to 15.00 USD. (el precio de la 2115 es en cualquier lugar de 4 a 15 dólares estadounidenses.)

Got this movement in an accurist watch and in the first 4 months it has lost only 2 seconds. Equivalent to 6 secs a year.

Yes, because manufacturers try to be on the ultra safe side with these accuracy numbers. You can also see this practice in automatic moments. +-20 is the absolute worst case. Generally, it performs much better (I have a watch with this movement).

The Casio Duro/Marlin also uses this movement. Unusual for Casio that typically has its own in-house movements.

I was just looking for the answer to the question of what the module used in the Casio MDV106 has. Casio numbers their modules with a four digit number and I don’t think Casio offers a movement lookup on their website. I was under the assumption Casio made all their own modules, but maybe that’s just for the digital watches.

Hello,
Has anyone replaced a Seiko PC32 with one of these? I guess the only non matching thing would be not being able to use the watch’s original stem as they are totally incompatible.

I have a vx43e and that’s s. Epson and hits all secs constantly. It’s in my Casio mtp1377d. Should last a lifetime

In fact,the wheel train in miyota’s movement is not metal all,in miyota’s standard movements,the wheel train was metal,but now they are plastic.

In the newest version of the 2035 movement, third wheel,fifth wheel are changed to plastic,and Fourth wheel stop lever has been added for protecting these plastic wheels.

Maybe your watch has a movement that produced few months/years ago. Miyota changed third wheel,fifth wheel into plastic for thier all 2-series movement maybe since 2024 spring.

Ok, moving to Epson and also Seiko. Firstly, Seiko solar, 2 jewels v158 movement, and Epson Vx43e, is that a metal gear train as well? The Seiko v158 is priced as a good movement as solar and jewelled also. Bloody watches lol

I’m building my own 2115 but I can’t find parts for it do you have any suggestions on where to find parts, and when I do search the movement up the 8215 comes up alot are they the same

Found in a Sekonda. Needed to strip down as 20 past marker had fallen off the face into the glass. Bit of a nightmare to get the stem out. Difficult to hold the pip but persevered. Came out eventually.

SUNON SP28, it is a sweeping second movement, it sweep at 4 beats per second just like VH31, it is a cheap movement, but unfortunately it is unrepairable and the battery life is lower than MIYOTA 2115.

Anyone know the specs for the hand’s openings? I’m trying to figure out if the hands are cross-compatible with the TMI VH31 movement. (It’s supposedly either the Miyota 2035 or 2115 that work on the TMI VH31)

By the way, the hand sizes for the 2035 and 2115 are the same.
