In this detailed video by perplxr, watch as a hand-wound ETA caliber 6497-1 movement gets overhauled from start to finish, including disassembly, use of an automatic ultrasonic cleaning machine, reassembly and lubrication.
A few notes: The cap jewels were lubricated off camera. The video does not cover adjustment of the oscillating system and escapement after service. The cleaning machine used is the Greiner Vibrograf ACS 900.
