Hello!
As for battery running time:
- Seiko 6N52 - 36 months/3 years
- Ronda 515 - 45 months/3.75 years
- ETA 955.412 - 68 months/5.6 years
Overall durability is more difficult to answer, but it is worth noting that all of these calibers can be repaired.
Some members of the community may look at the jewel counts as an attempt to answer:
- 6N52 - 0 jewels
- 515 - 1 jewel
- 955.412 - 7 jewels
The jewels should help with reducing wear caused by friction, but the argument could be made that it is not as important with these movements. Also, while a jewel can reduce friction, it still needs cleaned and oiled eventually.
You may want to read through the comments on each caliber listing to see what other members say about their experiences. You can also look for examples of used watches to see which ones seem to be sold for parts/repair, and which ones are found in older watches still running.
Another thing to look at is user error. The coil on the Ronda is more prone to being damaged due to slipping the tool when changing the battery. The Seiko and ETA coils are more distant from the battery, and the Seiko coil is coated with a protective layer.
Keep in mind that while it's an interesting comparison of 3 quartz movements that are functionally similar, these movements are not necessarily interchangeable and have different dimensions.
This may read as a vague answer, but without side-by-side durability testing of these movements operating in various conditions, it really comes down to opinion, general preference, or experience with one or another (frankly, this is true with much of this side of the watch industry).
Curious to know what spurred your question and how you narrowed it down to these 3 calibers...
Thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰
I want to buy a watch between these watches
and durability is most important thing to me
