The ETA caliber 805.112 is a Swiss quartz movement. This caliber is part of ETA’s Fashionline family of movements.

Swiss Made or Swiss Parts?

The 805.112 is signed “Swiss” and not Swiss Made. Notably, the movement is also not marked “V8“.

ETA 805.112 Interchangeability / Stem Release:

The 805.112 is interchangeable with the 805.111 and 805.114. One of the technical differences between the more recent 805.112 and the other calibers appears to be how the stem is released and battery cell number.

The 805.112 being discussed on this page has a push-in detent button that most watch technicians and tinkerers will be used to. Not shown in the drawing style image below, the 805.112 stem release should have an arrow pointing to a small dimple or indentation which you can press with your tweezers while removing the crown and stem.

The previous versions had a screw style stem release system – they also required a different battery (395).

ETA 805.112 VS 805.122:

There is a similar calibre 805.122 with the main difference being that the 805.122 has a day-date calendar complication, rather than just a date.

Replacement Prices:

Replacement prices for the cal. 805.112 were found in the range of $14.71 USD to $19.95 USD.
