The ETA caliber 2825-2 is an automatic movement with a variety of configurations depending on the watch. This Swiss made caliber has 25 jewels and a power reserve of about 38 hours. It is based on the 2824-2 framework.
The 2825-2 can be found in various Swatch Group watches such as Hamilton and Tissot. These brands may have their own caliber numbers (the Hamilton caliber H12 pictured above for example), as well as variations with date/no-date and different hand layouts.
Known Configurations:
Central hours; central minutes; small seconds at 6:00 (base configuration)
Regulator style with central minutes; hours subdial near 10:00; small seconds subdial near 4:30
Offset hours and minutes subdial around 1:00-2:00; small seconds around 8:00
Date Window Locations:
Variants of the 2825-2 are known to have a date calendar displayed at 3:00, 6:00, or 9:00. There is at least one no-date version used by Hamilton as their caliber H-12.
