The Sunon caliber PE11 is a basic 3-hander no-date quartz movement. This affordable caliber is a member of Sunon’s “Standard Series” family of watch calibers.
Although the movements are assembled in China, the stock photos displayed by Sunon and other pictures from various sellers online, show that the movement is not signed with a country of origin.

Replacement Prices:
At the time of this post, replacement prices for the Sunon PE11 were found online in the range of $1.27 USD (plus $1.99 shipping) to $12.09 (free shipping).
Some watch parts sellers mention that the Sunon PE11 can be a “cheap alternative” for the Hattori/Seiko caliber PC11 (a similar movement, made in Japan), but unless you find a PE11 supplier selling on the lower end of the price range, the prices for PC11 are about the same as the PE11. Keep in mind that those are retail prices for individual movements being sold by parts resellers, so it’s possible that wholesale pricing is much more competitive – and when a watch company is placing and order for hundred or thousands of movements, then the pricing will make more of a difference.
About Sunlong:
Sunon International Group Limited is headquartered in Hong Kong. Their official website also references a company called Sheng Long International Group Limited, although it is unclear what the association is, or whether Sheng Long International is directly involved in the watch industry.
It appears that Sunlong specializes in quartz watch movements. This includes basic 3-hander calibers like the PE11 being discussed on the page, as well as sweep seconds, chronograph, multi-functional, and more.
Many of the made in China movements are known to lack comprehensive technical information supplied by the manufacturer, however, in the case of Sunon, Caliber Corner is impressed by their organized catalog and clear access to tech sheets and drawings.
