The ETA caliber 2512-1 is a small vintage mechanical movement with 17 jewels. While this caliber was mainly used in circa 1960s~1970s, the earliest tech sheets we found were dated 1959.
2512-1 VS 2510:
There is a similar calibre 2510 with the main difference being that the 2512 has a beat rate/frequency of 21,600 beats per hour (3 Hz), and the 2510 beats at a slower 18,000 bph.

Cartier uses the 2512-1 as a base movement for the Cartier caliber 78-1. This is also the movement pictured on this page until Caliber Corner gets images of another example.
