The Dubois-Depraz 2025 is a module that turns the basic 3-hander ETA 2824-2 into a tri-compax chronograph with a date complication. This module is found on the Zodiac Calame watches introduced in 2003, named after the brand’s founder.
If you see an “M” on 2025, it usually stands for “module”.
The 2025M increases the movement jewel count from 25 on the plain Jane ETA 2824-2 to 51 jewels with the DD-2025 module.
There are many DD modules and generally not a lot of information or technical details about them. Don’t be surprised if you see the 2025 being incorrectly described as a module for the ETA 2892A2.
