Why did you white the battery?

So how would you replace the battery with that plastic cover on it like that?

The plastic cover pops off. It’s part of the movement retainer to hold it in the case, but has an arm attached to it that also covers the battery. The whole plastic surround just pops right off, and then you can get the battery out.

Hi I am looking for a set of hands for a Miyota OS21 movement, they would not seem to be standard hands and sit down through the dial. Can you help? I have a picture of the actual hands

Hi, is it possible to reset the chronograph minute hand to the 60 position? I have followed the procedure to reset the second hand to 12 o’clock, and it works, but the chronograph minute hand doesn’t move back to the 60 mark, when I press the B button. It seems it got stuck in the 10 minute mark, and it keeps returning to that point when I press the B button. Is there a procedure to reset the chrono minute hand? The manual only mentions a procedure to reset the second hand. Thanks a lot! Regards

Hi, I struggled with that on a OS21 movement. After resetting the second hand the chrono minute hand had moved on slightly and I couldn’t reset it. I couldn’t find any info about it. However after persisting with different button pressing sequences I found it, and it’s simple but slow. Pull the stem out to position 2, same as for setting the second hand and simply press top button A and bottom button B alternately repeatedly. You will notice that the chrono minute hand moves a tiny amount each time then push in the stem. Be careful not to overshoot… Read more »

Hi, thanks a lot for the advice! Unfortunately, I cannot try the procedure, as I sold the watch! But it’s good to know how to do it. I really appreciate your help, anyway! Thanks for taking the time to reply. Cheers.
