The Frédéric Piguet caliber 1271 is a rare mechaquartz movement. It is a hybrid mechanical/quartz movement. This quartz movement has two motors with two integrated circuits. One motor powers the movement and the other runs the chronograph.
It gets power via the battery cell, but the rattrapante complication is mechanical. This caliber also utilizes a mechanical vertical clutch column wheel for the chronograph function.
The example pictured above is of a FP1271 used by Breitling as their caliber 69.
