This movement is in a Cronos I recently purchased. The GMT hand stopped functioning within 4 months. Disappointing quality. I’ll stick with NH34s in the future.

You were probably just unlucky which can happen with pretty much anything purchased.

Since I posted this, I had a watchmaker service it. After the service, the performance has been solid. Consistent performance day in and day out.

One more update. I had a watchmaker regulate it 3 weeks ago. I wanted to give it a couple of months to break in (full service 4 months ago). Now, It’s +2 over 3-4 days. I’d say you can’t do better than that!

Hi everybody

I’ve bought the San Martin SN0054-2 GMT with the opaline dial around 6 months ago and it’s been an amazing experience (I bought it as it was the BB Pro Tudor should’ve made). The movement has excellent tactile feel when unscrewing and using the crown, nice handwinding with good feedback, clear setting positions and has been running a very consistent -2 to -5 s/d. I’ll get around to calibrating it to get the same range on the plus side. Very happy with it and very much worth that smoother sweep over the NH34.

Right, a cheap Chinese knockoff is the watch Tudor should have made, well done, you have achieved the dumbest comment on the internet today. Nobody says this about san Martin, only people who are cheap and can only afford crap.

Spoken like a true Tudor Fanboy. What’s wrong with SM? Is the price clouding your judgement? Having few Tudor’s Big Brother watches, I could say that your love for the Tudor is only dictated by the fact that you can’t afford the Rolex. I have $50K watches and I have $500 watches, also I have watches I built from AliEx parts and I like them all. BTW – IN MY OPINION – all post 2010 Tudor watches with the exception of the FXD and Ranger are esthetically unpleasing, and boring. Can’t you really stand that Pedro is enjoying his watch… Read more »

Oh and your spiel about having 50k watches is absolutely BS, carry on with your deluded fantasy but the only person you are fooling is yourself. Once you’ve owned a luxury watch you would never go back to a hundred buck special.

Good movement. The 6460 I have is very accurate at -1 second a day and the handwinding was very soft, but the pt5000 feels very rough
