The ETA caliber 2523 is a Swiss made automatic watch movement that was produced in the 1960s.
Setting the Date:
The ETA caliber 2523 is not equipped with a quickset date, therefore setting the date can be tedious. Instead of turning the hands around the dial two full times to advance the date forward, you can follow the steps below:
- Turn the hands past midnight to advance the date
- Turn the hands back to 8:00pm
- Turn the hands forward again past midnight to advance the date
- Repeat until current date is reached
