Oris Calibre 735, base SW 220-1 is not a very accurate movement, running well below COSC standards – quite a disappointment!

Mine runs at roughly +16 seconds daily… not exactly sure if I was lucky or if Rogers comment is broad brush for the SW-220. In my mind a sub $1000 dollar automatic running at this % of accuracy is hardly a disappointment. (Ref: 01 735 7641 4263-07 5 22 22G).

nobody buys a mechanical watch if they want accuracy even omegas master co axial chronometer isn’t accurate. If you want to tell the time precisely then buy a quartz

True. But it is great to have a hand crafted movement that is as accurate as possible. Especially if you are a watch lover of both craftsmanship and accuracy. the more accurate a analog movement is the more attractive it is. I have both makes Quartz and Automatic Analog

Grand Seiko spring drive – mechanic movement with quartz level accuracy but who would pay 5k plus for a Seiko?

I bought one and it runs at 0/+1s a day… its almost perfect, but as said, for accuracy just buy a casio quartz, or jump to the 5/6 figure price tags 🙂

my watch dial faded from blue to orange. I paid to have it replaced and the second example now turning orange!
