RADO is a luxury watch company owned by the SWATCH Group conglomerate of watch brands. There are vintage RADO caliber numbers as well as modern RADO movements. When a caliber listing is completed for the corresponding caliber number, it will be linked.
How to find RADO caliber numbers?
For many RADO watches, if there is an 8-digit reference number engraved on the back of the watch, the first 3 digits will be the caliber number.
For example: with ref: 073.2896.1, the caliber number is 073.
For newer RADO watches (not exactly sure of the timeline, but let’s say after 2020), the caseback may not have a reference number engraved, but the rotor may have the caliber number. Also, the reference number may not have any dots between the digits (some RADO “SKUs” are like this) and RADO could call the caliber number a movement reference number.
For example: SKU: R27178205 has movement reference 03.808.031 and the rotor is signed “CALIBRE R808”.
If your watch does not have a reference number engraved on the back, you can try to enter the watch’s serial number in RADO’s user manual form here. Once a valid serial number is entered, it should display the caliber number of your watch movement.
