I was looking for the lift angle for a eta 2842, but you idiots thought, that caliber didnt exist…..just fu

Hi Tom, this page was created as a placeholder until the 2842 listing could be completed. There were so many users complaining because they were trying to find info about the 2824-2 but typed it incorrectly. Can totally see how this page doesn’t work well for those actually attempting to find info about the ETA caliber 2842… but wow, no need to swear lol :/ Have a great Sunday!

PS: as for the lift angle on the 2842, you should be good with 50 degrees (like the 2824-2 and 2836-2).

I actually do have the ETA 2842 movement, but the case is a plastic swatch case that broke. I’m looking to put the full movement and watchface in another new housing but cannot find anything online. Would the movement fit in a standard metal housing for the ETA 2824 movement? There are tons of those online (like on aliexpress)

PLS Help, it’s an old watch of my dad, and it would a lot to me if I could wear it again.
