The Baume & Mercier caliber BM 112824 is a 3-hander automatic movement with an open balance wheel at 12:00.
Previously, Baume & Mercier had their own caliber designation for the “BM 112824”, which used the ETA 2824-2 as the base, with 25 jewels. As of this post, it appears that the brand no longer uses their own caliber number and like many non-Swatch Group brands, they have transitioned to the Sellita SW200-1 AJ as a base calibre (see image below). The easiest way to determine which base caliber your watch has would be to find the jewel count: 25 jewels = ETA 2824-2 base / 26 jewels = Sellita SW200-1 base.
