This is the cheapest, worst ETA caliber – throw away, cannot be fixed, made of mostly plastic. Value: $1.00 (and I was generous)

I can’t get the stem out. I see the whole with the arrow, but I can’t seem to release it. Has anyone removed the stem from one of this?

Are you sure your tool actually reached the button? Did you try it with the crown in the setting position?

Smallest of the Screwdrivers, (orange) down the hole in Position 1 (date set). Gently press and pull crown at the same time.

Is it bad to do this in the time set position or the position closest to the case?

Yes, The only time the lever is available to press is in date set.
If you put anything in the hole at any other time, you are just poking around on the circuit and could damage it..

Pull the crown in the middle intermediate position (position two, where you can recalibrate the 1/10 hand and the large seconds hand). Then take a needle and put in in the hole labeled with the arrow on the movement). While pushing down on the needle (crown in position 2), pull the crown out. To put the crown and stem back, you also need to push the needle in the hole. You can’t remove the crown if it’s in position 1 or in position 3 while you push the needle in the hole. Only in position 2.

gybognarjr you are crazy. Iown one in my invicta 2144 it is the most accurate watch I ever had. Maybe a minute faster than most.

Yes, the info in this link should help you get your chrono and subdial hands lined up to zero again.

Yes, when the time stops being indicated, but the chrono still runs, that is the EOL.

Minute wheel 0.90mm
Hour wheel 1.50mm

by seconds/chrono, i’m assuming you mean the one in the center. how about the other chrono hands (and actual second hand which is at the bottom eye)? are they .25mm too? thanks

Yes. All of the small hands and the chrono secs hand are the same.

I got a problem. Watch work perfect, but the hand of the 1/10 from the chronograph skips or sometimes just vibrates but does not resey back to zero. Is this serviceble ?

Already tried a new battery? Already tried the reset procedure to line the hand back up to zero? Then possible the hand is loose? If that’s the reason then you can remove the movement and try to press the hand back down. If not then maybe it’s a bad gear? Just throwing ideas out there to help.

Yes, brand new Renata 394 at 1.5597V. Did the reset procedure too, but even when I try to reset the hand, it either skips or wont move. Leaning towards a bad gear, or the gear axis needing some lube. When I knock the watch, it seem the hand catches and I can move it a revolution or so, until it starts skipping or not moving again. Sucks cause the watch has a very sentimental value to me.

I am so glad to find this site! I just replaced the battery in my Wenger AeroGraph which also has the G10.711 in it. Now the watch runs and keeps good time but the chrono functions don’t work. I did all of the reset procedures but none of the dials will move. My Seiko has an electrical reset of the movement by connecting the AC to the + of the battery. Is there such a function for the ETA? Any ideas?

Hi guys
Just starting out on new hobby. Have an original tag f1 chrono cac1111. Need the new movement g10.711 4.5. That seems easy enough to find. However the dial is water marked along with hands. Can’t find any anywhere.
Also has anyone sorted the leaking bumper issue on these without replacing the whole case?

Didn’t use tag to service it..used a jewellers who charged £5 for battery change. I know … false economy
