The S. Epson caliber VS75 is a solar-powered quartz chronograph movement with a 24 hour indicator.
This calibre has been produced since at least October 2012 (VS75A), with an evolution update around August 2023 (VS75B).
VS75A VS VS75B:
The main difference between the A and B versions appears to be the capacitor part number.
VS75A | VS75B | |
Capacitor Part # | 3023.24H | 3023.34T |
Basically, the 3023.24H capacitor (aka secondary battery) was replaced with a newer 3023.34T.
VS752?
It appears that Orient is using the cal. VS75 in their Solar Chronograph (Ref: RA-TX0203S10B), however, they have it listed as VS752. It is unclear what the extra “2” is, but perhaps it stands for “B”, which is the current iteration as of this post. If you have an Orient watch with the so-called VS752, please consider submitting images.
