The Hangzhou caliber 2C30 is an automatic watch movement with a date and power reserve indicator. Made in China.
Most of the Hangzhou 2XXX movements appear to be based on vintage Seiko movements. This information may come in handy with finding parts or details on servicing.
Unconfirmed:
Most of the information on this caliber is unconfirmed and may need updated. Good luck finding any technical information! Even the sellers that offer raw HZ 2C30 movements for sale, usually don’t provide any important specs such as diameter, height, hand sizes, etc. You will most likely find this movement in watches that are already assembled. You may get the watch and find that there is no caliber designation (nor a jewel count, factory name, country of origin).
Replacement Prices:
Replacement prices for new 2C30 movements were found in the range of $35.10 to $43.50 USD. Keep in mind that there is rarely a seller that has these movements on-hand and ready to ship outside of China, so expect to wait. Even if you find an eBay seller that claims the item is located in USA, be aware that there are many China based eBay sellers putting USA as the item location but still shipping from China to a USA shipping fulfillment center. What this means is that you most likely won’t be getting your package in 2-3 days.
