Based on what they write here, it appears to be a Sellita SW300-1 (or other ETA 2892-A2 clone) with a custom Schaumburg rotor. Not many images out there. Where is the video you saw?

More info is needed. Emailed them for confirmation.

Thank you for your  reply may I ask how you know this info . I Ask  because I know Schaumburg uses soprod for  some of their movements . I think you are correct they use Selitta for the manual movement so it looks like Selitta 👍 I prefer a Selitta or eta movement over soprod or stp

. soprod has had issues as many watch followers know ., ty

oh yes I read the info on sw-300-1 yes you are correct

oh yes I read the info on sw-300-1 yes you are correct

Replied too fast. After a closer look at the one picture available here it is not any of those.

The "SW-30A" moniker sounded like it was a play on "SW300-1", but the SW is probably for "Schaumburg Watch" and not "Sellita Watch".

They really should disclose this on their own without making people ask unofficial sources. It doesn't help that they don't offer many images of the caseback or movement. The Tango model doesn't have a picture of either.

Will email them now for confirmation and update this thread with the real answer.

Keep in mind that while one image looks like a Soprod, they can technically use a Sellita, Soprod, or ETA base movement and still call it their SW-30A. That's a Forrest Gump movement ;P

Edit: but it should at least be the same movement framework. It's just wrong to call everything an SW-30A even though they are completely different base calibers. For example switching from SW300-1 and SW200-1, but using the same brand caliber number is not good.

The initial reply has been edited due to lack of consistent information from the brand. Quite frustrating.

First, they write this: "The pilot watch works with an SW30A (ETA 28922A) and thus offers two additional features". But it is on a page with no images of the movement.

Then I found the caseback pic here and saw three screws with "SW" and "30" in the name and made a reasonable assumption that it was SW300-1, since the SW300-1 is an ETA 2892-A2 clone.

After digging into it more, and examining the one picture they provide here...

It looks like a Ronda caliber R150.

(Emailed Schaumburg Watch again to confirm and will update accordingly, as well as create a new caliber listing for the SW-30A.)

For additional comparison, Shinola is another brand using the R150 as their Argomatic R-150.

That is just a Ronda R150 with the automatic wind unit removed - not exactly true manual wind.

The Ronda marking is visible under the balance wheel, confirming the posts above.

Would be interested to see how that ratchet wheel holds up to daily manual winding 😆

This isn't special to the R150. Any auto can be made into a manual wind. Doesn;t mean it's a good idea.

I bet they say yeah you can convert it because you can convert any auto. And they will say there's no ratchet wheel issue because why would they say to convert it with an issue. I wouldn't want an auto converted to a manual but that's just me.

Are you buying one?

We yes most likely I will keep it automatic I’m not crazy about a converted movement . Though as mentioned Schaumburg bring small takes apart the movements and decorates them . I purchased a watch wry a very nice manual wind movement but not a conversion .

Ended up ordering the automatic i agree im not totally confident in changing an original auto to manual maybe schaumburg does a good job maybe not ..I do like the brand but its not a biggie for me to change to manual . ..Though would love to know if anyone else has a watch with a converted manual wind sw-30h .Oh i wanted to let you guys know that Schaumburg sent me an email that due to changing the size of the movemnt to manual on that particular model it woudlnt have looked correct aesthetically. The manual movemtn woudl have left it farther from the crystal.  hmm i posted on watchuseek maybe i will get a reply ABOUT A CONVERTED ronda 150 but i doubt it .Thanks anyway guys for all your help you actually were a huge help.
