I found two Regulator movements on here and both have odd base calibers. I’ve never heard of Enicar…

Amazing how these watch companies buy up old movement stock from movement houses that closed shop. Then they put them in new watches and rebrand the caliber number or claim they are the ones who made the movement. Meanwhile it was sitting in a box for decades most likely, collecting dust and getting dried out.

please keep in mind Krono‘s West does a significant amount of modification and finishing to the movement.

Hello all. I am very curious as a watch lover and minor collector. I have a small collection from Casio to Rolex, and Omega and even Invicta, etc. In my opinion Invicta actually makes a lot of watch for the money. The fit and finish is amazing at the price point, especially if you wait for extreme price reductions in the reserve level watches, and stick with watch diameters and styles you like. They do, on occasion, skimp a little on the movements, especially with the quartz models, but they also use Valjoux autos, and mechanicals, I won’t go down… Read more »

My Chronoswiss Regulateur CH1223’s Enicar 165 is noisy when the rotor spins. How about yours?

LOL. Sorry, just found this yesterday.
I think it’s just how the movement is.
I’ve had a few watches over the years that were rather noisy, or at the very least they weren’t buttery smooth.

I have the Enicar AR167 which the C122 is based upon, and its oscillator is noisy. My Citizen’s are also noisy.
