The Seiko caliber M705 (M705A) is a digital quartz watch movement found in various Seiko digital Scuba Diver’s watches.
In Seiko’s own words:
“The Seiko Scubamaster Cal. M705 is a computerized diver’s watch featuring a built-in electronic depth gauge and automatically displays the data required in making a dive.”

In addition to the normal digital time and calendar display, the M705 also has:
- Depth meter up to 80m
- Dive display
- Dive table
- Diver’s log
- Alarm (daily)
- Warning/communication beeps
- Illuminating backlight
- Battery life indicator (EOL)
