Invicta caliber JSD-006ZY is an automatic movement, made in China with 20 jewels. Many of the Invicta models with this movement have a skeleton or partial skeleton dial design.

Note: Calling it the “Invicta caliber JSD-006ZY” may not be entirely accurate, but it appears that Invicta is the only watch brand using this caliber number, so it’s possible they created the caliber number as their own. Whether it is intentional or not, this makes it more difficult to know what the movement actually is. When more information is discovered about the factory or base caliber, the title of this caliber listing may change.

Another observation is that this movement is found in a lot of their “character” timepieces, such as Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney watches.

There is no other information about this caliber anywhere online, including Invicta’s own product listings which simply state “Function Type: Automatic”.

Invicta only offers a blurry computer rendered image of the cal. JSD-006ZY:

Apart from the fact, that there is no further information about this caliber anywhere, it works fine in modell 44399 for 6 Months now, with about 10s + / day. So it seems reliable concerning the selling price (83€ for the whole watch)

It might be a Chinese Standart-movement aka Tong Ji aka 7120 / SS7 with an automaric winding module.

It might be based on the Chinese Standard-movement aka Tong yi ji xin(统一机芯) aka 7120 / SS7 with an automaric winding module(自动上链模块).

Thanks for replying. I think you’re right about it being based on the 7120 / 557 movement. It has the small winding stem, that’s difficult to grab a hold of. That’s the main issue most owners complain about. The accuracy out of the box was about + 13.0 spd. When it’s out of warranty, I will open it up and give it a tweak! 🙂

Have the Invicta Aviator with the model number 40546, have Measured the JSD-006ZY Movement stock from the Official Invicta Store with the WeiShi No.1000 and with the Timegrapher app in pair with an Highend Mic that i used for IEM and Headphone measurement both got an average for beat rate 21600, and an accuracy of 6s +/- a day, the Beat Error was 0.3ms and the amplitude was from 197,3° to 200° oh and my one had 21 jewels so idk maybe it was upgraded by Invicta
