Citizen caliber 9184 is an automatic watch movement with a 24 hour hand and a power reserve indicator. This movement is made in Japan with 26 jewels and a high-beat frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 beats per hour).

“9184” is the caliber designation used for movements branded for use in Citizen watches. For non-Citizen watches, this movement is sold as cal. 9134 by Miyota – making it a member of the Miyota 9 series or 9000/9100 family of premium automatic movements.

Citizen watches with the 9184 have been available since at least 8/2017, but the Miyota version of this movement is listed as discontinued as of this post.

Power Reserve:

The 9184 has a power reserve of about 40 hours on a full wind. It takes about 40 turns of the crown to reach full power reserve. This particular movement has a power reserve indicator complication, allowing the wearer to see how much energy is remaining in the spring before the watch stops running.
