Alpina Caliber AL-435

Finely decorated with “Côtes de Genève” and the distinctive «Alpina» engraving on its bridges, this in-house execution of the famous Unitas movement displays hours and minutes, as well as the seconds at the 6 o’clock position. The hand-wound AL-435 movement creates a special relationship between you and your watch, namely the pleasure of “bringing to life” a mechanical watch, simply by winding it.  –Alpina

This caliber AL-435 is based off the Unitas 6498. It is often mixed up with the Unitas 6497. The difference between these two Unitas calibers is the the 6498 has the seconds subdial at 6:00 and the 6497 has the seconds at 9:00.
