The Orient caliber F6B22 is self-winding automatic movement with a day-date and 24 hour subdial. This caliber has 22 jewels and beats at a frequency of 21,600bph (3Hz). Orient makes their movements in-house in Japan.
Power Reserve:
The Orient caliber FB622 has a power reserve of about 44 hours. Winding the crown 30 times will wind the spring fully and achieve full power reserve.
Orient F6B22 VS F6B24:
Orient has a similar calibre F6B24 with the main difference being that the F6B22 has pointer style 24 hour indicator at 5:00 and the F6B24 uses a disc style day/night indicator. Both of these complications function the same way (by following the main hours hand and inability to be independently set) but the display is different. The F6B22 looks like a subdial with a hand and the F6B24 looks like a moonphase indicator (which it is not).
Also worth noting: Both calibers have a standard datewheel, but some models of the F6B24 display the date via a panoramic cutout between 7:00 and 8:00 instead of a date window at 3:00 – functionally, they are the same.
