Wikkie maintains that Vintage starts after 20 years. I can live with that but then is is it safe to assume that a vintage watch has been serviced @every 4-5 years? I don't believe that. Are most servicings dated by marks/date on the inside of the case back? Does anyone wear the Antique watches in their collection? Are they runners or do you just have them for other reasons? Â

initials the inside of the case back. I wear occasionally a 1960 gilt dialed Rolex Submariner 5512. This reference is more resilient than most watches and has the chronometer 1560 caliber inside. Imagine the number of revolutions the hands /movement have inscribed since 1960.
