I’ve been frequenting this site for years looking up information on different movements and not once did I realize you could sign up and be a part of the community.  I guess I was just always in a rush and never took the time to sit back and look around.  Glad I finally did!

I joined a popular watch forum (not sure if I’m allowed to list it here) when I was looking for that one perfect watch (back when I thought all I needed was one—haha!).  Wow, was I naive.  Fifteen years later and I’ve bought, sold and traded over 150 watches as well as tried my hand at modding.

I love all things watch related.  I like quartz, autos and hand crankers.  My first love is dive watches and dive chronos.  My budget is low ($50 - 300 range) so I get by and enjoy what I can afford. Love me a good Casio Pro-Trek or G-Shock too.

Well, that’s enough about me.  Hi, again Everyone and I hope to keep learning as I hang around in the forums here more often.

And my hat’s off to the person who started and continues to maintain this site!!  You are one obsessed, dedicated individual and I salute you!!

Hey pauliedoggs,

Your kind and encouraging words are much appreciated, thank you!

Signing up and posting on the forum was always part of the plan, but it took longer than expected to implement it. There were posts about the journey (mostly boring software and development stuff) but they got deleted a few weeks back during a big update.

Working daily to get more caliber listings up and continue evolving the design and functionality of the site. That also means some things are bound to change or move around. Glad you're here and enjoying it!

With 15 years of collecting over 150 watches, surely the community will be looking forward to your posts and caliber listing comments.

Welcome to Caliber Corner!

And for watches 150 to 300, be sure to check out KTT every so often 😛

Why are the sweet price points for other watch bugs?  Mine seem to be @ 500.00, then under 1500, leaning towards 1000.  And one splurge watch Rolex that I do not wear except on special occasions.  I have more watches than my wife has shoes.  My collection is Seiko heavy and I need to sell a few before I buy any others.
