I most like skeleton watches.

I like playing with NH38, 39 and 70, also 8N24 from miyota (and similar).

I am starting to figure out TY2809 but it’s hard to find cases and dials.

Finally there’s this Chinese movement showing up everywhere, some watches are very cool looking but that 2001 movement I don’t like, but I am thinking about purchasing some of those cheap watches and placing one of the already mentioned better movements.

Starting my research. If anyone knows, please share. I’ll share my findings

Welcome to the Caliber Corner forum!

The caliber listing for the "2001" is on the schedule to be posted next week. Will try to do some side-by-sides 🙂

The Seiko NH70A and Miyota 8N24 are solid skeleton movements, but it would be nice if the Seiko was as skeletonized as the Miyota is (the cutout rotor helps too!).

I have problems finding ny info on Chinese movements,  this is also true regarding them marking their movements.  Need to keep good records on ordering, receiving and using.

Does the V175 movement lose accuracy when the chronograph is used for an hour daily?
