TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon (Ref: CBS5010.FC6543 blue dial) |
The TAG Heuer caliber TH20-09 is an automatic chronograph tourbillon watch movement. The Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon powered by this caliber was introduced on March 27, 2023 at Watches and Wonders 2023 in Geneva.
TH20-09 VS Heuer 02T:
Similar to the differences between the TH20-00 VS Heuer 02, the TH20-09 benefits from a bidirectional rotor compared to the unidirectional winding on the Heuer 02T.
The Heuer 20T was available with COSC, but the new TH20-09 does not appear to make any references to being certified.
The manufacturer’s warranty on the new TH movements has been increased from 2 years to 5 years.
Both movements have 65 hours of power reserve, so no improvements there.
Rotor Text:
The rotor features cutout in the shape of a TAG shield logo. The text reads: TAG HEUER / TH 20-09 / THIRTY-THREE (33) JEWELS / SWISS
