The S.G.T. caliber 100 is a vintage handwound mechanical lever style movement with 17 jewels and a direct central seconds hand.
There is also an “E4” designation engraved below the caliber number. The meaning of this “E4” is unconfirmed.
SGT 100 VS FE 140:
You may also see this calibre referenced as FE-140 (by France Ebauches). As such, there are different variants featuring calendar complications. Note: the drawing above is actually from a France Ebauches tech sheet for the cal. FE 140 C.
