The S. Epson caliber YM92A is a quartz chronograph watch movement.
Battery Life:
The battery life in the YM92A is rated at about 3 years depending on how often the chronograph (stopwatch) function is used. The chronograph takes more energy to operate, so it can decrease the battery life faster. Seiko quotes approximately 3 years of battery life when using the chronograph for 2 hours per day. Therefore, if you never use the chronograph, you should get a longer battery life.
Replacement Prices:
At the time of this post, replacement prices for the YM92A were found in the range of $10.40 USD to $32.95 USD.
