The Ronda caliber 1037 is a vintage handwound watch movement produced in circa 1960s ~ 1970s.
1037 VS 1037-21:
There is a similar Ronda caliber 1037-21 with the main difference being that the “21” indicates a beat rate of 21,600 vph, compared to 18,000 vph on the 1037.
RAX VS RL:
You may see “RAX” under the balance wheel. This denotes the movement having a Swiss pallet lever system. Watches with “RL” have pin lever systems. If you are looking for spare parts, you will want to order accordingly.
