The PTS Resources caliber G3265ZH is a 20 jewels automatic skeleton watch movement, made in China. This caliber has been in production by PTS since at least 2017, possibly longer. It is based off of the Chinese Standard Movement (Tongji).
As with most made in China watch movements, there is not much information about the G3265ZH, and even the caliber number is not consistent. It doesn’t help that no pertinent information is visible on the movement with regards to brand, caliber number, or even a jewel count.
Some of the topics covered in this caliber listing:
G3265ZH Vs G3265Z:
Apparently there is a typo perpetuating on the internet and this caliber is often misspelled as “G3265Z”, without the H on the end. The official spelling from PTS Resources is G3265ZH. The caliber numbers appear to be interchangeable, unless there is a different caliber altogether, or made in a different factory – please comment below if you know something…
Invicta lists their Pro Diver 39422 (it looks like a Russian Diver, did they stop using that nomenclature?) as having a G3265Z movement from vendor “Hong Tai”. There is no evidence that Hong Tai is an actual factory, but it is more likely to be a trading company Invicta deals with for their made in China movements.
G3265ZH VS G3266ZH:
There is a similar caliber G3266ZH that shares all the same specs and functionality. The main difference is that the 3265 is silver tone and the 3266 is gold tone.
Replacement Prices:
Replacement prices for the cal. G3265Z (or however the spelling is) were found for $39.95 USD, but you’d almost be better off just buying an entire watch for parts.
Watches with this movement:
There are a quite a few cheap watches available with the G3265ZH movement – including some knockoffs, go figure!
One thing to note is that even though this calibre is skeletonized, it is sometimes found in non-skeleton dial watches as shown below…
