Hi all,
Would appreciate an advice where to purchase a new mainspring for the Ulysse Nardin UN-1183-122.
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Vlad.
Hi Vlad, your watch is powered by the Ulysse Nardin caliber UN-118. It's unlikely that you can get a mainspring without a parts account. Maybe someone else can help you here, but you may have to get in touch with UN.
Another downside to in-house or manufacture movements that people need to be more aware of: parts availability (lack of).
If you find something, please remember to come back and update this thread.
Thank you CC, understood.
Apologies for the newbie question, what is the best way to get in touch with the manufacturer for parts? Their official web-site is all marketing and sales. And they don't have an official office/representation in my country hence the struggle to find parts. Even a regular local watch repairer has no access to the parts via their regular parts supplier...
Unfortunately availability of parts was not an aspect I considered when purchasing this watch 10 years ago... ((
Thank you.
Vlad.
You will most likely need to send your watch to the nearest Ulysse Nardin service center for a complete overhaul.
You can try to email them here. Or find their phone number at the bottom of this page (there is also some service info on that page you might want to read).
Please keep this thread updated. Good luck!
will do, thank you CC.
Ulysse Nardin support responded with a list of authorized dealers and services in my location. Not exactly the information I was looking for. But thanks for your help anyway.
