I own a Seiko 5Y23A-6248 D1. A beautiful watch with day-date compilation.
It runs fine for 4-5 days after which the watch stops. The battery is not empty then, but the watch is stuck or something. If I manually adjust the time or adjust the day-date, it works fine.
What can cause the movement to stop?
A short circuit? High internal friction?
