I want to install watch hands on a skeleton movement. Normally, the hour wheel is kept in place by the dial. But here, no dial! How should I proceed? Thanks!
Hour wheel?. Hour hand? Please clarify.
The problem I see is with the hour wheel that is not held in place by the dial, as usual. How do you ensure that it does not slip out of position ? Thanks !
Hi JFoto51, welcome to the site!
This video gives a close-up of the front and back of a skeletonized Seagull ST3600K (6497 clone), including the hour wheel...
Thanks for the video. It does show the hour wheel, albeit briefly, and a profile view would have been interesting. I have the same movement on my bench and will fiddle around with it to see what I can do. Thanks again and don’t hesitate if you come across more info.
Nice video and movement. good luck becasue I am thinking you are the first down this road.
