I have finally joined this wonderful site. I have been gleaning information for a little while, so I thought it was about time I joined. I have started collecting watches and have around 50 of them. Occasionally I will sell one or two to buy something that has caught my eye. I tend to go for Swiss (automatic) mainly, and have a number of Tissot watches, Tag, Omega and others that catch my eye and are within my price range. My initial intention was to buy and sell and hopefully make enough money to buy a really nice,, expensive timepiece. That hasn't happened - I just keep buying whatever catches my eye, and enjoy them. I carry out minor repairs and hope to learn enough to hopefully be able to service them myself. Anyway, a bit long winded, but that's me and my watch fetish (that's what my wife calls it).
Best regards to all,
Andy B
Hello! Welcome to Caliber Corner! Thank you for the kind words 🙂
It sounds like you have quite a collection. Which piece gets the most wrist time? Also curious... what is the one really nice and expensive timepiece you would want?
My watch that gets the most wear is an old Tissot PR100 2 tone automatic. The size and weight of the PR100 is perfect for me and it suits my wrist size. I have simple tastes and would love to own an Omega Aqua Terra 150m, steel on steel with a blue dial. So, I need to keep saving the pennies lol 😁
