The ETA 7760 and its variations belongs to the family of ETA 7750 Chronograph movements. ETA has now the ownership of the Valjoux name and patents. The Valjoux 7750 and its derivatives like the 7751 and 7753 are Automatic, 28800 bph, cam controlled chronographs, while the 7760/65 are the same but without the automatic mechanism. All of them can be found with different levels of finishing and precision/accuracy. They are widely used by many brands for its reliability and customization properties. A Valjoux 7760 has kept my Tutima Fliegerchrongraph 1941 running dependably and accurately for over 20 years. (And yes, it is serviced periodically). So, who else relies on this wonderful movement?
